Fashion Find - Yellow Leopard Tunic

Image
If you spend any amount of time on Amazon, I'm sure you've seen clothes pop up. A lot of the items are very inexpensive, but look really nice in the picture. The big question - are the clothes low quality because of the low price? A couple of years ago I can remember finding things that I really liked, but not ordering anything after reading the reviews. The reason things didn't cost much was because they were cheaply made. It could be really disappointing if you found something you wanted only to discover it's not what it seems based on the reviews. Well, I have great news! It is much easier to find great deals on great quality clothes on Amazon. This yellow leopard top is the Bingerlily Women's Long Sleeve Leopard Color Block Tunic. It comes in four different colors. There were only 9 reviews when I purchased it, but they were all verified. I was very impressed with the quality. It was super soft, and it did fit like a tunic as advertised. It was lo...

Billie Razor Review

Image
I'm guessing that by now you've seen the ads for Billie Razors? I see them everywhere, so I finally broke down and decided I needed to give the razors a try. I went ahead and signed up for a starter kit and subscription. The starter kit is currently $9 and includes the razor handle and two 5-blade cartridges. It's actually a pretty good price considering what I normally pay. With the subscription, you will receive 4 new cartridges for $9. You can choose the frequency that you want to receive the replacements. My started kit included a couple of samples - body lotion and shaving cream. It also came with a magnetic holder for the razor. The holder sticks to your shower wall and the razor attaches to it. I decided to add the shaving cream to my order because reviews said that it smelled amazing. After trying the razor out, I would say it's not life-changing. It's just a razor. The shaving cream didn't do anything magical, and although it did smell g...

Tula Face Filter & Blurring Moisturizing Primer and Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm

Image
I am a skin care and beauty product junkie. I love trying out new things, especially when everyone is talking about how great the product is. I've been seeing a lot of the Tula products lately in the social media universe. Many Influencers have been talking about the Tula Face Filter & Blurring Moisturizing Primer and the Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm. If you follow any fashion or beauty Influencers, I'm sure you've seen them raving about these products. I've used several Tula products, and I really like them. Why not give these a try?  Primer : My first thought when I put this on was, "Is this a self-tanning lotion?" It was the craziest thing - as soon as you rub it into your skin it changes to a darker color. I have very fair skin, so I didn't think it was going to look good on me. To my surprise, it blended in seamlessly. It absorbed nicely into my skin and felt good. I didn't really like it as a primer, th...

Fruity Cereal Cookies

Image
I don't know about you, but I love sugar cookies. I make them more than any other cookie because they are always a crowd pleaser. I mean, what's not to love? They have just the right amount of sweetness and a hint of vanilla. But let's be honest, making the same thing over and over gets a little boring. Sometimes you have to shake things up a bit, so I decided to try a fun twist on this classic cookie by adding fruity cereal. Not only does it rev up the flavor, but it also adds some fun bursts of color! The recipe is so simple. The cookie dough comes together in just minutes. Plus, you don't have to refrigerate the dough before baking. These sweet treats freeze really well, too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fruity Cereal Cookies Ingredients yields 2-3 dozen cookies 1 cup butter (softened) 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar 1 egg 2...

Cosmo-rita Cocktail

Image
Today is game day...you have food, decorations, and everything prepped and ready for your Super Bowl Party...but wait, what about drinks? If you need a quick and easy cocktail, I have one for you! I bet you already have all of the ingredients, so you won't have to run to the store to fight the people trying to buy wings at the last minute. This is a simple combination of a classic Cosmopolitan Cocktail and Margarita. The super easy recipe is below. If you really want to amp it up, try making some cranberry-lime ice cubes. They keep your drink nice and cold without diluting it. Simply use equal parts cranberry juice and water and squeeze in the juice of one lime. Cosmo-rita Cocktail (2 servings) Ingredients 4 oz. tequila 2 oz. triple sec 6 oz. cranberry juice cocktail juice of 1/2 a lime Directions Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake about 30 seconds until really cold. Strain into martini glasses or pour into ...
