Tula Face Filter & Blurring Moisturizing Primer and Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm
I am a skin care and beauty product junkie. I love trying out new things, especially when everyone is talking about how great the product is. I've been seeing a lot of the Tula products lately in the social media universe. Many Influencers have been talking about the Tula Face Filter & Blurring Moisturizing Primer and the Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm. If you follow any fashion or beauty Influencers, I'm sure you've seen them raving about these products. I've used several Tula products, and I really like them. Why not give these a try?
Primer: My first thought when I put this on was, "Is this a self-tanning lotion?" It was the craziest thing - as soon as you rub it into your skin it changes to a darker color. I have very fair skin, so I didn't think it was going to look good on me. To my surprise, it blended in seamlessly. It absorbed nicely into my skin and felt good. I didn't really like it as a primer, though. I found that my favorite way to wear it is on those minimal makeup, natural days when I'm not going to wear foundation. It made my skin glow. I love using this with a little powder on top and a touch of mascara.
Eye Balm: This does just what it says - it cools and brightens under the eyes. Similar to the primer, I didn't like it under makeup. It worked great with the primer when I wasn't wearing any foundation or concealer. It has a hint of shimmery pink to brighten the eyes. If you have really dark circles this may provide a little help, but I'm not sure how it would handle serious dark circles and bags under the eyes. My favorite part was the cooling effect.
Overall, I would recommend these products if you don't mind the price. The primer is $34 for 1oz. and the Eye Balm is $30 for .35 oz. If you've tried out either of these products, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
