Ipsy Glam Bag Plus March 2020

Everyone loved the February Ipsy Glam Bag that I shared, so I figured you'd all want to see the March Ipsy Glam Bag.

Ipsy provided another great box full of surprises! Here's what I got:

  • The Coffee Scrub Coconut Body Scrub. Retail Price $21.99 
    • I'm super excited for this. Summer is getting close, and I always need a good exfoliator on hand prior to using a self-tanner. I haven't tried it out yet, but I bet it's going smell amazing!
  • Thebalm Cosmetics AutoBalm GRL PWDR . Retail Price $26.50 
    • Blushes and bronzers seem to be taking over beauty boxes lately. Although I have more blushes than I need, I'm excited to give these a try. They look really pretty and the tin that it comes in can double as a small accessory organizer. How cute is that?
  • Complex Culture Precision Concealer Brush. Retail Price $26
    •  I am obsessed with brushes, so I was very excited to get this. It seems very well-made. A lot of brushes feel cheap, but not this one. It is a fluffy concealer brush, but I will likely use it for contouring.
  • Il Makiage Hypnotize Fill & Fix Brow Shaper in Latte. Retail Price $22
    • I've been really impressed with everything I've tried from Il Makiage. I absolutely love their mascara. I'm excited to try this because my eyebrows need all the help they can get!
  • Malin + Goetz Revitalizing Eye Gel. Retail Price $42
    • I'm always up to try a new beauty product. I find that a lot of eye products are greasy and don't absorb well. This gel is supposed to soak right in, so it should work great under makeup. It's meant to help soften fine lines, depuff bags under the eyes, and brighten dark circles.
  • Yensa Super 8 Lip Oil in Pink. Retail Price $24
    • I love lip oils. They are so moisturizing and give a nice shine without the stickiness of lip gloss. I tried this one by itself and it provided such a pretty sheen and a slight hint of pink. You can also use it over lipstick. This one is a winner in my book!
This box was definitely a great value this month. The total price of everything comes to $162.49. Considering the box is only $25, that's a great deal! Let me know what you got in your March Ipsy Glam Bag in the comments. I'd love to hear what you think of the products.

Summer is almost here and I'm ready to spend some time at the pool, so of course that means I need some new swimsuits! I used to be obsessed with Victoria's Secret Swim, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend so much this year. Is it just me, or have their prices increased drastically? The average price for a bikini (top and bottom) was around $10. That's not some sort of special sale price. That was regular price. The ones on sale were about $3.50. Charcuterie Board for Two

Hello everyone! I don't know about you, but I am really missing having parties and gatherings with friends. Even going out to eat isn't an option for most people. Just because we can't have a bunch of people over doesn't mean we can't have our own personal party! One of my favorite things about a party is a charcuterie board. I can't wait to share my tips with you, so let's jump right in and start our party for two! To start you'll need a board and a couple of small bowls or jars. Little bowls are perfect for nuts, jams, and spreads. You may also need a small spoon or cheese knife depending on what you decide to add to your board. Once you've got that, it's time to decide what to put on your board.  Since this is a board for two, I like to forget about the "rules" of what you should have. Ipsy Glam Bag X May 2021

 I finally decided to go for it and add the quarterly Glam Bag X. After seeing what everyone has been getting in past boxes, I had to go for it! This box adds an additional $30 to your subscription cost quarterly, so it's $55 each quarter. Each quarter a new celebrity or makeup pro will curate the boxes. The May box is filled with Kloe' Kardashian's favorite items. Check out what I got in my box! 111Skin Rose Gold Radiance Booster.  Retail Price $135.00 I think each box comes with at least one really expensive luxury item, and this was what was included in my box. The booster serum can be mixed with your moisturizer to give your skin a dewy glow. It is brightens and hydrates skin and has tiny little gold sparkles in it. Although this is a great product, I was disappointed with this. I was really hoping to get the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. I've really been wanting to try it.
