It's that time again...Ipsy Glam Bag Plus unboxing. I really loved the April box. Check out what I got below!


  • Dose of Colors Liquid Matte Lipstick in Play it Cool. Retail Price $18.00
    • This is a matte finish that lasts all day. This lipstick felt so nice. A lot of liquid lipsticks make your lips feel dry, but not this one. The color is a rose-taupe shade. It dried down darker than I expected. I would describe it as more of a mauve color.
  • Ciate' London Triple Shot XXL Mascara in Black XXL. Retail Price $22.00
    • I love mascaras. I'm always happy to get one in a beauty box. This mascara gave great fullness and volume. The only downside is that it started to flake a little around the end of the day. Overall, I really liked it!
  • Tarte Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner in Black. Retail Price $24.00
    • I have so many eyeliners right now, that I cringe when I get another one. This one will move to the front of the pack, though, because it is dual-ended. One side is a gel and the other side is a liquid. I'm very interested to see how this performs.
  • Shaina B Miami Mini Miami Eyeshadow Palette. Retail Price $20.00
    • I have an obsession with eyeshadow palettes. I love them. All of them. Keep them coming! This palette is nice and neutral which is generally what I wear. There didn't seem to be too much fallout when I swatched it, so I'm excited to give it a try.
  • Cela Creme Rose The Very Best Cream Rose. Retail Price $39.00
    • This cream is called Creme Rose, but I don't find it has a rose scent. I can't explain the smell, but I find it intoxicating. I love the scent so much that I would be willing to pay the $39 for another tube when I run out. This is my favorite item in the April box.

Summer is almost here and I'm ready to spend some time at the pool, so of course that means I need some new swimsuits! I used to be obsessed with Victoria's Secret Swim, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend so much this year. Is it just me, or have their prices increased drastically? Last year I bought a few bikinis from Amazon, so I took a look around there, but no luck. I've been seeing tons of Influencers on Instagram post super cute swimsuits from SHEIN, so I went to the website to take a look. First off, the website is very overwhelming because there are so many options. You could scroll for hours and not run out of options. Second, everything was shockingly cheap. The average price for a bikini (top and bottom) was around $10. That's not some sort of special sale price. That was regular price. The ones on sale were about $3.50. Charcuterie Board for Two

Hello everyone! I don't know about you, but I am really missing having parties and gatherings with friends. Even going out to eat isn't an option for most people. Just because we can't have a bunch of people over doesn't mean we can't have our own personal party! One of my favorite things about a party is a charcuterie board. I can't wait to share my tips with you, so let's jump right in and start our party for two! To start you'll need a board and a couple of small bowls or jars. Little bowls are perfect for nuts, jams, and spreads. You may also need a small spoon or cheese knife depending on what you decide to add to your board. Once you've got that, it's time to decide what to put on your board.  Since this is a board for two, I like to forget about the "rules" of what you should have. Ipsy Glam Bag X May 2021

 I finally decided to go for it and add the quarterly Glam Bag X. After seeing what everyone has been getting in past boxes, I had to go for it! This box adds an additional $30 to your subscription cost quarterly, so it's $55 each quarter. Each quarter a new celebrity or makeup pro will curate the boxes. The May box is filled with Kloe' Kardashian's favorite items. Check out what I got in my box! 111Skin Rose Gold Radiance Booster.  Retail Price $135.00 I think each box comes with at least one really expensive luxury item, and this was what was included in my box. The booster serum can be mixed with your moisturizer to give your skin a dewy glow. It is brightens and hydrates skin and has tiny little gold sparkles in it. Although this is a great product, I was disappointed with this. I was really hoping to get the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. I've really been wanting to try it.
