 Hello again my friends! I'm so excited to share what I got in my September Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. Check out all the goodies below.

  • Laruce Essentials Brush Set. Retail Price $154.00
    • Yes, you read that correctly. The retail price for this brush set is $154!! This set includes an Angle Contour, Flat Foundation, Kabuki, Shadow, and Tapered Blending. The bristles are incredibly soft, and the brushes feel very well-made. They feel like the highest quality brushes I've ever received in a subscription box. Once I start using them and washing them, I'll be able to tell if they are worth the steep price.
  • Starkskin Face Mask and Peeling Puff. Retail Price $17.25 
    • Starskin is a K-Beauty brand that is known for their masks. The Close-up mask is said to help boost skin's elasticity. Foaming Peeling Puff uses vitamin C and alpha-hydroxy acids to help remove dead skin cells. I'm excited to give these a try!
  • Space Case Cosmetics Custom Eye Shadow Palette. Retail Price $32.00
    • This palette includes four shimmery/metallic shades. I swatched these on my hand and they are really pretty. They are supposed to be incredibly long-lasting. These neutrals will be perfect for the busy work week or for a fun weekend party!
  • Context Skin Vitamin C All Day Eye Cream. Retail Price $24.50
    • I am in need of a new eye cream, so this came at the perfect time! This eye cream is supposed to help hydrate and brighten the eye area, leaving you looking beautiful and refreshed. It's supposed to work well under eye makeup, so you can use it both in the morning and at night.
  • Smith & Cult Nail Lacquer in Bite Your Kiss. Retail Price $18.00
    • I love Smith & Cult nail lacquers. I find they are so pigmented and don't chip. I love dark colors in the Fall, and this is a gorgeous dark plum color. 
The value of this month's bag is $245.75! This month's extremely great value is due to the very expensive brush set. What a great deal for only $25!

Summer is almost here and I'm ready to spend some time at the pool, so of course that means I need some new swimsuits! I used to be obsessed with Victoria's Secret Swim, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend so much this year. Is it just me, or have their prices increased drastically? Charcuterie Board for Two

Hello everyone! I don't know about you, but I am really missing having parties and gatherings with friends. Even going out to eat isn't an option for most people. Just because we can't have a bunch of people over doesn't mean we can't have our own personal party! One of my favorite things about a party is a charcuterie board. I can't wait to share my tips with you, so let's jump right in and start our party for two! To start you'll need a board and a couple of small bowls or jars. Little bowls are perfect for nuts, jams, and spreads. You may also need a small spoon or cheese knife depending on what you decide to add to your board. Once you've got that, it's time to decide what to put on your board.  Since this is a board for two, I like to forget about the "rules" of what you should have. Ipsy Glam Bag X May 2021

 I finally decided to go for it and add the quarterly Glam Bag X. After seeing what everyone has been getting in past boxes, I had to go for it! This box adds an additional $30 to your subscription cost quarterly, so it's $55 each quarter. Each quarter a new celebrity or makeup pro will curate the boxes. The May box is filled with Kloe' Kardashian's favorite items. Check out what I got in my box! 111Skin Rose Gold Radiance Booster.  Retail Price $135.00 I think each box comes with at least one really expensive luxury item, and this was what was included in my box. The booster serum can be mixed with your moisturizer to give your skin a dewy glow. It is brightens and hydrates skin and has tiny little gold sparkles in it. Although this is a great product, I was disappointed with this. I was really hoping to get the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. I've really been wanting to try it.
