Hanskin Hyaluron Skin Essence and Moisture Cream Review

By now I'm sure a lot of you have heard about Korean skincare, aka "K-Beauty." If you haven't heard of it, I bet you've used some Korean beauty products and didn't even realize it. They are everywhere, and for a good reason. They are amazing! Traditionally, K-Beauty is known for using natural ingredients. The routine for skincare is a lengthy, multi-step process. But rather than diving deep into the history and world of Korean skincare, I wanted to share with you a couple of my favorite products.

Hanskin Hyaluron Skin Essence

I'm pretty new to the skin essence scene, and it is something that I have come to realize is well worth adding to your skincare routine. I've been using the Hanskin Hyaluron Skin Essence for 6 months, and it has made a huge difference in my skin. Between the cold winter air and using Retin-A cream, my skin is typically dry and flaky this time of year. This skin essence has added so much moisture and hydration to my skin that I haven't seen any signs of dryness since I started using it. It absorbs very quickly and makes my skin feel so soft.

To use it, I wash my face and pat dry. Then I shake out a few drops onto my hand and rub them together to emulsify. Then I pat the essence on my face and neck. I wait until it's fully absorbed before applying other products. 

If you are looking for something to up the hydration in your skin, I would highly recommend this product. Another plus is the price. While some essences can cost over $100, this runs around $25 for 5oz. 

Hanskin Hyaluron Moisture Cream

After using the skin essence for awhile and falling in love with it, I decided to give the Moisture Cream a try. This is now on the top of my list of favorite moisturizers! Since using this in combination with the essence, my skin has felt so much softer and smoother. I feel like I'm glowing after using this. I don't like heavy moisturizers that seem to sit on top of your skin and never absorb. This is a gel-cream consistency and it absorbs immediately. Makeup goes on flawlessly after using this.

I generally use this as the last step of my skincare routine. After washing and using the Hanskin Hyaluron Skin Essence, I typically apply a serum. Once the serum has absorbed, I put the Hanskin Hyaluron Moisture Cream on and gently rub it in until absorbed. 

Just like the essence, this is a great price! A 1.69oz container is about $30.

Charcuterie Board for Two

Hello everyone! I don't know about you, but I am really missing having parties and gatherings with friends. Even going out to eat isn't an option for most people. Just because we can't have a bunch of people over doesn't mean we can't have our own personal party! One of my favorite things about a party is a charcuterie board. I can't wait to share my tips with you, so let's jump right in and start our party for two! To start you'll need a board and a couple of small bowls or jars.  I finally decided to go for it and add the quarterly Glam Bag X. After seeing what everyone has been getting in past boxes, I had to go for it! This box adds an additional $30 to your subscription cost quarterly, so it's $55 each quarter. Each quarter a new celebrity or makeup pro will curate the boxes. The May box is filled with Kloe' Kardashian's favorite items. The booster serum can be mixed with your moisturizer to give your skin a dewy glow. It is brightens and hydrates skin and has tiny little gold sparkles in it.
