Ipsy Glambag Plus February 2021

I'm so excited about my February Glambag Plus! If you've been around long, you know that I love Ipsy! I can't wait to tell you about the amazing products I got this month.

  • Violet Voss Lip Gloss. Retail Price $12.00
    • This is a beautiful sheer nude gloss with a hint of shimmer. I got mine in the color  Love in Paris. The gloss is so pretty on its own, and it adds a glass-like finish on top of lipstick. I'm really loving this gloss so far!
  • Callyssee Whipped Moisturizing Cream for Normal to Dry Skin. Retail Price $34.00
    • The Ipsy website describes it as a "souffle' for your skin." It's a moisturizing face cream that is said to help soften and repair signs of damage. I'm excited to give this cream a try!
  • IT Cosmetics Heavenly Skin-Hugging Foundation Brush #707. Retail Price $42.00
    • IT Cosmetics makes some really nice brushes. Although they are very pricey, they are worth it because of the quality. The bristles are super-soft. This particular brush is specially cut to hug the curves of your face. I can't wait to put this brush into action.
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation.  Retail Price $38.00
    • Mine came in the color 120W which is for very fair, warm skin tones. The first swatch on my hand looks like it may be a good match for me. My skin is a little more on the neutral side, but I think this color may work. It provides lightweight, full coverage without feeling too heavy. 
  • F.A.R.A.H Rendezvous Brush Trio. Retail Price $40.00
    • I have a lot of F.A.R.A.H. brushes and they are great! The trio comes with a brush for pressed powder or blush, one for highlighters, and a blending eyeshadow brush. This works with cream or powder products. A girl can never have too many brushes!

Summer is almost here and I'm ready to spend some time at the pool, so of course that means I need some new swimsuits! I used to be obsessed with Victoria's Secret Swim, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend so much this year. Is it just me, or have their prices increased drastically? I've been seeing tons of Influencers on Instagram post super cute swimsuits from SHEIN, so I went to the website to take a look. First off, the website is very overwhelming because there are so many options. You could scroll for hours and not run out of options. Second, everything was shockingly cheap. The average price for a bikini (top and bottom) was around $10. That's not some sort of special sale price. That was regular price. The ones on sale were about $3.50. Charcuterie Board for Two

Hello everyone! I don't know about you, but I am really missing having parties and gatherings with friends. Even going out to eat isn't an option for most people. Just because we can't have a bunch of people over doesn't mean we can't have our own personal party! One of my favorite things about a party is a charcuterie board. I can't wait to share my tips with you, so let's jump right in and start our party for two! To start you'll need a board and a couple of small bowls or jars. Little bowls are perfect for nuts, jams, and spreads. You may also need a small spoon or cheese knife depending on what you decide to add to your board. Once you've got that, it's time to decide what to put on your board.  Since this is a board for two, I like to forget about the "rules" of what you should have. Ipsy Glam Bag X May 2021

 I finally decided to go for it and add the quarterly Glam Bag X. After seeing what everyone has been getting in past boxes, I had to go for it! This box adds an additional $30 to your subscription cost quarterly, so it's $55 each quarter. Each quarter a new celebrity or makeup pro will curate the boxes. The May box is filled with Kloe' Kardashian's favorite items. Check out what I got in my box! 111Skin Rose Gold Radiance Booster.  Retail Price $135.00 I think each box comes with at least one really expensive luxury item, and this was what was included in my box. The booster serum can be mixed with your moisturizer to give your skin a dewy glow. It is brightens and hydrates skin and has tiny little gold sparkles in it. Although this is a great product, I was disappointed with this. I was really hoping to get the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. I've really been wanting to try it.
