Grapefruit Gin and Tonic
A few weeks ago when we were out at a nearby restaurant, we had the most amazing cocktail. It was a gin and tonic, but with grapefruit flavored tonic. It was so delicious that I had to recreate it. The version we made at home was super simple, and so tasty that you have to give it a try! You only need 3 ingredients. How easy is that?
The first step is to squeeze a grapefruit to get all that fresh juice out. Then you can slice up a second grapefruit to use as garnish.
Now all you have to do is put your ingredients together. Throw in a slice or two of grapefruit into your glass and fill with ice. Add 2 ounces of your favorite gin. Then 4 ounces of tonic water. Finally add an ounce or two of your fresh grapefruit juice, and viola!
I think this is my husband's new favorite drink. Give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments below.
