Ipsy Glambag Plus December 2021

 Happy Holidays everyone! It's time for lots of parties and celebrations, so new beauty and skincare products are just what I need right now. Luckily my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus for December has me covered. Read below to find out about all the products I got this month.

  • Seraphine Botanicals Lemon Balm + Thyme Nourishing Lip Scrub. Retail Price $26.00
    • Lip scrubs definitely come in handy this time of year. Not only are my lips drier because of the weather, but I wear a lot more lipstick. Lip scrubs are a perfect way to prep. This lip scrub helps to smooth and moisturize lips with golden sugar, rice bran, jojoba, and rosehip oils.
  • Rodial Glass Primer. Retail Price $39.00
    • I love a good primer, but unfortunately this item was left out of my bag. I'm hoping it is sent out with my next bag so I can give it a try. This is supposed to help smooth your face for easy application of your favorite foundation. You can also use this alone to help give your skin a hydrated glow.
  • Play Violet Brightening Shampoo. Retail Price $28.00
    • I could always use a little help keeping my blonde bright. This violet shampoo is said to help remove brassiness and build-up. I can't wait to give this a try!
  • Shaina B. Miami - Miami Nights Pressed Pigment Palette. Retail Price $20.00
    • This palette has beautiful neutral colors along with some bolder colors perfect for a night out. The colors go on smoothly and can be mixed and matched to create the perfect look. I'll definitely be using the neutral colors during the day and layering on some brighter colors for evenings out.
  • Jecca Blac Liquid Concealer. Retail Price $15.00
    • I got the color 1.0 which is for very fair skin. This is supposed to be a powerhouse at covering up dark circles and other skin imperfections. It has a soft matte finish and will last all day. I'm always looking for a good concealer, so hopefully this will pack the punch promised.

Summer is almost here and I'm ready to spend some time at the pool, so of course that means I need some new swimsuits! I used to be obsessed with Victoria's Secret Swim, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend so much this year. Is it just me, or have their prices increased drastically? Charcuterie Board for Two

Hello everyone! I don't know about you, but I am really missing having parties and gatherings with friends. Even going out to eat isn't an option for most people. Just because we can't have a bunch of people over doesn't mean we can't have our own personal party! One of my favorite things about a party is a charcuterie board. I can't wait to share my tips with you, so let's jump right in and start our party for two! To start you'll need a board and a couple of small bowls or jars. Little bowls are perfect for nuts, jams, and spreads. You may also need a small spoon or cheese knife depending on what you decide to add to your board. Once you've got that, it's time to decide what to put on your board.  Since this is a board for two, I like to forget about the "rules" of what you should have. Ipsy Glam Bag X May 2021

 I finally decided to go for it and add the quarterly Glam Bag X. After seeing what everyone has been getting in past boxes, I had to go for it! This box adds an additional $30 to your subscription cost quarterly, so it's $55 each quarter. Each quarter a new celebrity or makeup pro will curate the boxes. The May box is filled with Kloe' Kardashian's favorite items. Check out what I got in my box! 111Skin Rose Gold Radiance Booster.  Retail Price $135.00 I think each box comes with at least one really expensive luxury item, and this was what was included in my box. The booster serum can be mixed with your moisturizer to give your skin a dewy glow. It is brightens and hydrates skin and has tiny little gold sparkles in it. Although this is a great product, I was disappointed with this. I was really hoping to get the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. I've really been wanting to try it.
