Summer is almost here, and I'm so excited to share all the goodies that I got in my Ipsy Glam Bag X that will help me get ready for the sunny days! Keep reading to find out what I got.

  • REN Clean Skincare Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm. Retail Price $52.00
    • I am a huge fan of balms. Although this is primarily intended for use on the face, it can be used anywhere you have dry skin that needs a little extra TLC. It helps to heal the skin and moisturize it using lipids from plants.
  • Wander Beauty Glow Ahead Illuminating Face Oil. Retail Price $42.00
    • I've received a lot of products from Wander Beauty in the past. Some are amazing, but others I could live without. I have never tried this product before, and I'm very intrigued. This can be used as a serum in your daily skincare routine. It can be mixed in with your foundation for extra moisture or used on the cheekbones for a highlight. You can even use it on your cuticles and lips! I love the versatility!
  • First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner. Retail Price $24.00
    • I love First Aid Beauty. I think their products not only work well, but are very affordable. This will be my first time using this toner. It is supposed to be gentle, so it should be great for my sensitive skin. I can't wait to try it!
  • Sunday Riley Pink Drink Firming Resurfacing Essence. Retail Price $48.00
    • I'm very excited to try this product. Essences are probably my favorite skincare splurge. Compared to most essences, this one is very reasonably priced. This is said to help resurface and firm the skin. You use this right after cleansing before applying other skincare items.
  • Tys Beauty Lip Treat. Retail Price $30.00
    • I don't think I have used any products by this brand yet, but I'm always up to try a lip treatment. The gloss has an iridescent glow to it that's really pretty.  Vitamins B and E nourish the lips and peppermint and ginger root give a plumping affect.
  • Dew of the Gods Claydate Healing Face Mask. Retail Price $42.00
    • I have received a lot of clay masks in the past. While I like them, I have never noticed a big difference with them. It's been a while since I've used one, so this will be a great opportunity to give a clay mask another chance.
  • Nudestix Tinted Cover Foundation. Retail Price $36.00
    • I got the color Nude 2.5. I can't wait to try this. I wear a lot of tinted foundations and moisturizers in the summer. I generally go for one with SPF, but sunscreen can easily be applied under this. The formula is lightweight, but it is buildable. 
  • Iconic London Sunset to Sunrise Eyeshadow Palette. Retail Price $62.00
    • This is the most expensive item in my bag this month. This palette contains 20 colors, including glitter, shimmer, and matte finishes. These colors are gorgeous and very wearable. This is definitely the type of palette I will get a lot of use out of!


To be honest, I was a little disappointed in this month's Glambag X. While there were some really nice products that I think I'll enjoy, I found it was missing "wow factor." These all seemed like items that you would get in a typical Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. I was hoping for one or two products that were a little more luxurious than you would typically see in a regular monthly bag. Summer is almost here and I'm ready to spend some time at the pool, so of course that means I need some new swimsuits! I used to be obsessed with Victoria's Secret Swim, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend so much this year. Is it just me, or have their prices increased drastically? Charcuterie Board for Two

Hello everyone! I don't know about you, but I am really missing having parties and gatherings with friends. Even going out to eat isn't an option for most people. Just because we can't have a bunch of people over doesn't mean we can't have our own personal party! One of my favorite things about a party is a charcuterie board. I can't wait to share my tips with you, so let's jump right in and start our party for two! To start you'll need a board and a couple of small bowls or jars. Little bowls are perfect for nuts, jams, and spreads. You may also need a small spoon or cheese knife depending on what you decide to add to your board. Once you've got that, it's time to decide what to put on your board.  Since this is a board for two, I like to forget about the "rules" of what you should have.  Happy October friends! How is the fall weather and spooky season treating you? I've really been enjoying it so far. The only thing that can make it better is my Ipsy Glambag Plus. Check out what I got this month! Dermalactives Ultimate Glow Apricot & Green Tea.  Retail Price $55.00 This is a new brand for me, and it looks really promising. This 7oz body scrub helps to exfoliate and condition skin using apricot abrasives and green tea. I can't wait to get into this jar! PUR 4-in-1 Skin Perfecting Powders.  Retail Price $34.00 My glambag was supposed to include this in Fair/Light, but unfortunately it was missing. Ipsy has confirmed that they will ship this out to me ASAP, so I hope to have it soon. This compact contains a bronzer, highlighter, blush, and setting powder.
