Can you believe we are already getting to the end of summer? It feels like the warm weather and pool days just got here! Although I'm sad that summer is almost over, I'm pretty excited for my Ipsy Glam Bag X! The curator for this box is Alicia Keys! I'm so excited to tell you about the products I got this month.

  • Keys Soulcare Skin Transformation Cream. Retail Price $32.00
    • Alicia Keys created this skincare line with the help of Dr. Renee Snyder. The cream is scented with sage and oatmilk to help create a calming mood. It's super nourishing and will help to bring out a radiant glow to skin. You can use it morning and night.
  • HUDA Beauty Silk Balm Honey Kiss Lip Balm. Retail Price $21.00
    • HUDA Beauty Lip Products are my favorite. I wear it more than any other brand. I have not tried the lip balm yet, but I feel confident that I will love it! I got the color Queen Bee. This provides a plumping and super-shiny finish, but without the stickiness of a gloss.
  • Complex Culture Filter Out Daily Blue Light Defense Mist. Retail Price $34.00
    • I use a lot of face mists, but I haven't tried a blue light protector yet. I spend most of my days in front of a computer, and this mist is supposed to help protect my face from the harmful rays the screen gives off. It is formulated with aloe vera to help soothe skin in addition to protecting it!
  • Live Tinted Huestick Multistick. Retail Price $24.00
    • I received the color "Perk" which is a light, peachy shade. You can use it on eyes, lips, and cheeks. You can even use it as a color-corrector to camouflage dark circles under the eyes. It's hydrating yet has a weightless feel. This will be great for travel since it will cut down on the number of products I need to pack.
  • One/Size Turn up the Base Versatile Powder Foundation. Retail Price $33.00
    • I received the color "Light 2" which is a good match for my skin tone. I generally don't wear powder foundations, but this may work really well over a sheer foundation to help provide additional coverage. This is a powder, but it has a creamy feel, so it won't dry out the skin. I'm excited to give this a try!
  • Truly Beauty Unicorn CBD Whipped Body Polish. Retail Price $35.00
    • This product is so pretty to look at! It definitely looks unicorn-like. It's packed with antioxidants and collagen to leave skin feeling smooth and soft. You can massage it on in the shower and leave on for a few minutes for extra hydration.
  • OLEHENRIKSEN Truth Serum. Retail Price $55.00
    • This vitamin C serum helps to brighten skin, reduce fine lines, and protect against the harsh environment. You can apply this each morning before your moisturizer.  
  • Lawless The Baby One Eyeshadow Palette. Retail Price $25.00
    • This palette has 8 beautiful shades in both mattes and shimmers. The colors will be perfect for my coloring. They range from browns to plums and rosy shades. These will be perfect any time of year.


I'm happy that this box had a nice mix of makeup and skincare. I am a little disappointed that there was no "wow factor" in this box. Some of the past Glam Bag X boxes have included at least one high-dollar product. While it was still a great value with $259 of items, there wasn't anything I was extremely excited about. Charcuterie Board for Two

Hello everyone! I don't know about you, but I am really missing having parties and gatherings with friends. Even going out to eat isn't an option for most people. Just because we can't have a bunch of people over doesn't mean we can't have our own personal party! One of my favorite things about a party is a charcuterie board. I can't wait to share my tips with you, so let's jump right in and start our party for two! To start you'll need a board and a couple of small bowls or jars. Little bowls are perfect for nuts, jams, and spreads. You may also need a small spoon or cheese knife depending on what you decide to add to your board. Once you've got that, it's time to decide what to put on your board.  Since this is a board for two, I like to forget about the "rules" of what you should have.  Happy October friends! How is the fall weather and spooky season treating you? I've really been enjoying it so far. The only thing that can make it better is my Ipsy Glambag Plus. This 7oz body scrub helps to exfoliate and condition skin using apricot abrasives and green tea. I can't wait to get into this jar! PUR 4-in-1 Skin Perfecting Powders.  Retail Price $34.00 My glambag was supposed to include this in Fair/Light, but unfortunately it was missing. Ipsy has confirmed that they will ship this out to me ASAP, so I hope to have it soon. This compact contains a bronzer, highlighter, blush, and setting powder.
